Transync Installation & Operation Instructions

The Transync Lighting Control Module (TRSC-1) is very much a plug and play type device designed to allow the simultaneous operation of multiple landscape lighting transformers. To install the Transync you'll need 12-18 gauge landscape lighting wire, wire strippers, and crimpers.

  1. Designate a lighting transformer to be the Master Transformer. It will have the photocell and/or timer installed in it for operational control. Depending on the size and layout of your particular lighting system, you may have more than one Master Transformer in the system. You'll choose these by which areas of lights you want to come on with the Master Transformer. The other transformers we'll call Slave Transformers. You'll need one Transync per Slave Transformer.
  2. Run landscape wire from the Master Transformer to all the Slave Transformers in the area. These wires can be in a daisy chain or in a home run scheme, which ever way is more convenient for your application.
  3. Included in the kit are two insulated spade connectors. Strip the ends of the wire at the Slave Transformer(s). Crimp the spade connectors onto the stripped wire ends.
  4. The Transync has the mate spade connectors already installed. Push together the spade connectors on the Transync with those of the landscape wire. It does not mater which leads are connected together as polarity is not an issue.

  1. Plug the power cord inside the transformer into the outlet on the side of the Transync. This power cord is that which would normally plug into the outlet or into a timer.
  2. Plug the Transync into the outlet inside the transformer.
  3. At the Master Transformer, strip the ends of the landscape wire, and connect them to the 12vac terminals.
  4. At this point all the lights, when activated, will operate simultaneously.
